The use of oral hypoglycemic drugs (OHO) lasts for a relatively long time. Most of the OHO is excreted through the kidneys. This study aims to determine the Glomerulus Filtration Rate (GFR) of type 2 DM patients who use OHO at the "X" Hospital, District of Demak. This study is an observational descriptive study using retrospective data obtained from medical record data (RM) of outpatient JKN participants with type 2 DM for the period October-December 2020. Inclusion criteria were patients who received OHO for at least one year with or without comorbidities, aged 36-65 years, and had a serum creatinine test. Patients receiving combination therapy with insulin were excluded. LFG is calculated using the Cockroft-Gault formula. From 82 patients, 52 patients (62.2%) were female, 74 patients (90.2%) were more than 45 years old. Patients who consumed OHO for more than 2 years were 47 (57.3%). Patients without comorbidities were 62 (75.7%) people. Patients who experienced a decrease in GFR in the moderate category (stage 3) as many as 24 people (29.3%), a decrease in GFR in the severe category (stage 4) as many as 5 people (6.1%) and 1 person (1.2%) experienced End Stage Renal Disease.
Fef Rukminingsih Mei Widiastuti ##submission.copyrightStatement## http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0 2021-09-28 2021-09-28 3 3 152 161 10.33759/jrki.v3i3.179 UJI AKTIVITAS ANTIOKSIDAN EKSTRAK ETANOL DAUN MANGGA KASTURI (Mangifera casturi Kosterm.) https://jurnalfarmasi.or.id/index.php/jrki/article/view/169
Mangga Kasturi (Mangifera casturi Kosterm.) is one of the plants in Indonesia that has potential as an antioxidant. The purpose of this study was to determine the IC50 value and antioxidant potential of the ethanol extract of mangga kasturi leaves (Mangifera casturi Kosterm.). The ethanol extract of mangga kasturi leaves (Mangifera casturi Kosterm.) was extracted using maceration with 96% ethanol as solvent. The antioxidant activity test was carried out using the DPPH (1,1-Diphenyl-2-Picrylhydrazil) method using a UV-Vis spectrophotometer and vitamin C as a comparison. The results of phytochemical screening tests on ethanol extracts showed positive secondary metabolites such as alkaloids, flavonoids, tannins, and quinones. Testing the ethanol extract of Mangga Kasturi leaves (Mangifera casturi Kosterm.) with the DPPH method showed that the ethanol extract had an antioxidant activity with an IC50 value of 83.61 ppm in the strong category of antioxidant potential.
Dwi Lestari Muthia Dwi MA Jati Pratiwi Lidya Handoko Saputri ##submission.copyrightStatement## http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0 2021-09-28 2021-09-28 3 3 162 173 10.33759/jrki.v3i3.169 PENGARUH TERAPI FARMAKOLOGI DAN NON-FARMAKOLOGI TERHADAP PENURUNAN NYERI MENSTRUASI PADA MAHASISWI FAKULTAS FARMASI UNIVERSITAS BHAKTI KENCANA BANDUNG https://jurnalfarmasi.or.id/index.php/jrki/article/view/156
Menstrual pain is a problem that women often complain about in their teens. Menstrual pain (dysmenorrhea) is pain before or during menstruation in the lower abdomen due to uterine cramps. The prevalence of dysmenorrhea in Indonesia is 54% primary dysmenorrhea and 9% secondary dysmenorrhea. Due to the severe pain that is felt during menstruation, 10% of teenage girls are absent from school and work for 3 days each month. This study aims to determine the effect of pharmacological & non-pharmacological therapy on reducing menstrual pain in adolescents. This research is an experimental research with one group pretest-post test design. The research sample used purposive sampling method, with a sample of 76 respondents. Data were analyzed using the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test & chi-square test. The results showed that the Wilcoxon test with the results of Sig. 0.000<0.05, meaning that there is a difference in the intensity of menstrual pain before & after therapy. So it can be concluded that there is an effect of pharmacological and non-pharmacological therapy on decreasing the intensity of menstrual pain. For the relationship of non-pharmacological therapy Chi-Square test results have a value of Sig. 0.514>0.05, meaning that there is no significant relationship to the intensity of menstrual pain. For the relationship between pharmacological therapy, the results of Sig. 0.019<0.05, meaning that there is a significant relationship with the intensity of menstrual pain in adolescent girls at Bhakti Kencana University, Bandung.
Ani Anggriani Yani Mulyani Lili Dinda Pratiwi ##submission.copyrightStatement## http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0 2021-09-29 2021-09-29 3 3 174 188 10.33759/jrki.v3i3.156 GAMBARAN PENGGUNAAN TERAPI GEA (GASTROENTERITIS ) PADA PASIEN ANAK DI RSUD BATARA SIANG PANGKEP SULSEL https://jurnalfarmasi.or.id/index.php/jrki/article/view/137
GEA (Gastroenteritis) or diarrhea is a disease caused by digestive tract disorders that are infected by bacteria.
